6th – 13th August 2011 - 7 days of cycling pleasure and relaxation
Overnight in Eugendorf, home of the legendary annual Eddy Merckx Classic, gateway to the Mozart City of Salzburg situated directly on the 2006 World Championship route.
And in the middle of all this beautiful Salzburg scenery you’ll find our ****Country Inn. Originally a farming estate, guests have been welcomed with typical Salzburg hospitality since 1380. Your special cycling holiday itinerary:
Sunday: arrival, getting to know each other, cycling warm up, tour suggestions
Monday: first tour accompanied by Hans the guide. Laid back warm up tour of approx. 70 km through the wonderful Lake District stopping off at picturesque Mondsee
Tuesday: tour with Hans the guide – approx. 80 km. Visit our organic farm with information and tasting of the speciality of the region: Flachgau’s fresh grass cheese ˜Heumilchkäse”
Wednesday: tour with your proprietor Fritz Maislinger - approx. 100 km with a delicious picnic at a lovely view point over looking Mattsee Lake.
Thursday: to do as you wish. In the evening you have the chance to meet Robert Schimmerl, a respected sports therapist giving you the chance to pick up useful training tips
Friday: cycle tour of your choice. We are happy to advise you on suitable tours. In the evening a 7-course gala dinner with wine accompaniment
Saturday: Final tour with guide Hans. Followed by a schnapps tour of the Stettenhof in Eugendorf | |
