Half-day tour, easy: The large tour around Wallersee Lake for discerning cyclists is well sign-posted. Starting in Eugendorf you head off towards Seekirchen, the tour takes you on several detours via Haging and Unzing to Henndorf. You continue by skirting the Kolomannsberg Mountain through meadows and forests to Pfongau. From Steindorf onwards the tour gets steeper until you reach Tannenberg where you are rewarded for your efforts with fantastic views of the surrounding mountain panorama, right across to the Osterhorn Group, to the, Tennengebirge ranges, Schafberg, Hoher Göll, Watzmann and Untersberg. Then you descend following the gently undulating route back to Eugendorf via Seekirchen.
Sights en route: ˜World of Cheese” show dairy in Schleedorf, Seeburg Castle, Ice Age Trail in Henndorf, Tiefstein Gorge. Numerous restaurants along the entire route for refreshments.
